What is a name? It is merely a tag to identify a person or collective so therefore, we dubbed ourselves "The F.I.B.s. Why: Who knows and more importantly, WHO CARES? We certainly do not. It does not stand for any one thing in particular, (although, I kind of like the term "Found In Bars). What we DO stand for is music. Not the kind of cranked out, standard pop music that is being run through the wringer, but free music. Music the way it was meant to be. Expressions of emotions.

We are a power trio made up of Jim Fairfield, Stan Oparka & Paul Pittman.

We're a heavier rock band doing all original music. We are also not a "kid" band. We have all been through the business long enough that we KNOW how to have fun and want to keep it fun, not only for us, but our audiences as well.
